Michelle Barlow (SIM)
Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world, with very limited access to food, clean
water, and medical services. Galmi Hospital was founded by SIM in 1950 to address
this need. Located 470km east of the capital of Niger, it now holds 180 beds and hosts
multiple specialized departments and clinics. I will be joining the local and international
staff of the hospital to work in both the inpatient wards and outpatient clinic.
